Indeterminable Translations

A semester long project of formal exploration and self critique. Assigned an arbitrary object (tape) as a starting point for form development, the project evolved into a an exploration of the indeterminable translations between 2D and 3D form.

Each weeks explorations informed the next. Drawings translated to 3D models and then rendered back into drawings. Flat forms manipulated into dimensional structures and used to cast shadow drawings. One moment of a sculpture isolated and repeated into a new forms.
